MELBOURNE, Dec 22 AAP - A 102-year-old Melbourne woman who was reported missing froman aged care home has been found safe and well, police said.

The woman was last seen walking in Black Rock at 10.30am (AEDT) today.

When she failed to return to the Sandringham home where she lived the alarm was raised.

Police said the woman was later returned to the hostel safe and well.

She had been on an outing with family.
