Fed: Mobil recognises moral obligation on plane fuel: Anderson

Acting Prime Minister JOHN ANDERSON says Mobil has recognised its moral obligation
to compensate the aviation industry for contaminated fuel.

He's congratulated Mobil for its $15 million assistance package which followed government
pressure during a week of discussions with the fuel giant.

Many general aviation companies are having financial difficulties as a result of avgas
contamination with employees stood down or on reduced hours.
